Well the long awaited Kreiger 30 cal 5r 1/11.25 twist barrel finally arrived Fri fits pretty nice in the new McMillan stock. I think about last week in April gunsmith start chambering new barrels.
I'm first in line for the 280AI the 284 and 300WSM towards the end may not get much done with either of those this year.
Since I'm using a Lilja for the 280AI I decided to use one for the 284 and that barrel be here tues or wed got a call that they shipped thurs late.
I was going to use a Win action for the 280AI but decided to sell that and I hate to admit this but purchase a Rem 700 BDL SS in 270 as a donor for the 280AI. I did shoot it first nice rifle gunsmith spun the barrel off he didn't have to do alot of work squaring it up. I got the same rifle coming next week but it's a 280 not sure what I'm going to make than into. Projects never end.
