The Shady Maple in Blue Ball isn't one of my favorite places since the tour buses took over. I don't like the stampede for the Buffet.
As for the Green Dragon on Black Friday my wife and I get there around 7am have breakfast and are gone by noon before the crowd gets really bad.
We like the Amish furniture and bought several Oak stands last year and had to pick them up at the store in Inercourse. :oops: :lol: Love those names.
 
LOL...Lancaster County sure does have some odd town names!

And as for Shady, yeah, the buses can be a pain, although I never found it prohibitive. Heck, at breakfast there's rarely a crowd...most tour bus folk aren't up early enough to get there in time from Philly! :)
 
There's a Restaurant in Green Dragon that we eat at and then another in one of the other buildings that we have lunch. Lots of Amish cooking and meats plus produce.
