Maybe someone can help. I have a load for my 308 that is excellent but I have one concern. It is extremely accurate (.362" 5 shot at 100yds). However, the speed is not up to par at 2515 fps. In order to shoot at longer ranges, from 700-1000 yds, the trajectory dimenishes rapidly at this slower speed.

Rifle - Rem model 700 / 26"bbl / 1-12 twist
load - 43 gns IMR 4895 / Fed 210 Match primer / 168gn Sierra MK HPBT / Nosler brass / 2515-2520 fps

Any suggestions or assistance would be appreciated.

Gunny. The only thing you can do is try a different load in hope that it will yield both velocity and accuracy.

You might want to check out the thread on ladder loading and see if you can find the next higher harmonic.
