I just want to pull my hair out.

Tightened actions screws up.

My previous thoughts on this rifle are lost. Another 20 down the tube. Suggestions welcome.

Friend of mine also shot his '06 for the first time. Can't complain.

Jake does your rifle have pillars in it?

Is it glassed under the entire action?

If neither then anything over about 30" lbs would be too much for me. With pillars but not glassed 45-55 should be fine.

What torque settings were you at when it was shooting well? Did it get screwy there?

Maybe a change of powder would help as well.
