Nosler,

Rumor has it that you will be introducing a 338 cal 200 gr AB in 2006.
What is the BC ? When can we expect to see bullets out?

Any other 2006 bullet offerings you can share would be appeciated by many of us here.

Thanks Nosler!

Regards,

Nosler,

What is the BC for the 338 cal 200 gr AB going to be?

Thanks,

I would think it would be damn near there 200g BTIP. Just a guess though. Out of your 338 RUM though, I would still shoot the 225g AB. The 200g AB would be better suited to the 338 WM.

remingtonman_25_06,

I agree, the 225 gr AB will outperform the 200 gr AB at long range.
I want to run the numbers and make a comparison.

Same as the BT if not just a little bit better. AB's are slightly longer than BT"S.

Pop,

Thanks, I know the 200 gr BT has a BC 0f .414. I wanted to run the ballistics on the 200 gr AB. I am "guessing" the BC is .420.

.420 BC @ 3200 FPS is one flat shooter! Would be a great Caribou load.

Hell yeah it would!

Usually the bc between the 2 is so close that Nosler does not distinguish between the two. Now like I said the AB do have a thicker jacket so they have to be a little longer (hence slicker) but not enough to make a difference in the field!
