Nosler,

Can you tell me a little more about the 338 180 gr AB. I am shooting a 338RUM.
Please confirm that bullet is designed for 3500+ fps?
What are the intended game, ie:Deer, Antelope, Caribou?
What is the BC?
When will this bullet be available?
Any suggested powders to try? (I have had very good results with RL22 for 200 BT, 210 PT and 225 PT/AB, RL25 for 250 gr PT).

Also, any additional thoughts of introducing a 200gr or 210gr AB?

Thank you for your help.

Best Regards,

You should be seeing the 338-180's in Feb.

They were designed with the 338 RUM and 338-378 WBY in mind.

The published B.C. on them is .372, but I anticipate that to be a bit higher in reality, because it is longer than the 180 BT with the same B.C.

You would easily drop a deer, antelope, caribou, plains game with this bullet.

If people want a heavier version this is the place to make your voice heard.

Nosler,

Thank you for the quick reply. The 180 gr AB out of a 338RUM should be one flat shooter.

I would like to see either a 200 gr or a 210 gr AB for the 338RUM. I would have to think this would become a very popular bullet for all 338 lovers.

Thank you again for your help and support.

Regards,

I agree! I would love to see a 200 grain .338 calibre AB as it would be a fantastic bullet for the .338-06.

I'd like to see a 200gr AB as well. It would be nice to see the BC up near the .500 mark as well. Is this asking too much?

I also think that a 200 gr AccuBond would be the ultimate projectile for deer size game in the .338bore. We don't need a 210 because we already have the Partition in that weight, which I now use exclusively. However, since I have such an accurate load for my .270 WSM using Accubonds, I would love to try them in my .338. I think 200 grains would be perfect!!
