Just finished my .338 Lapua hunting Rifle.-
Montana Professional Action esxtra long magazine to 4in.....
Broughton Poly Barrel t9.5 31in long
Montana Rifle stock produced by boyds the only ones for this type of action.
Glass bedded devcon 10-110, floated #5 contour barrel
Talley mounts.-
Scope by the moment unknown, looking for a 6.5x20 leupy or something better.

Joel,

I like wood. Whilst it does not provide as stable a platform as does a well-constructed synthetic, it is warmer and assuredly more handsome.

Besides beat the crap out of your shoulder in a #5 contour? I think you'll get a lot of barrel whip with that light of a contour and that long but that is just my opinion.

Very very nice!

Take a look at Retumbo and RL 33. The 31" barrel should really get those long 300 gr bullets moving.
I am thinking you should clear 2900 fps.

Very nice rifle. I am getting 2800fps with 300g SMKs and Reloader 25 out of my 30" Windrunner barrel. Very accurate load too.
