I'm looking forward to the pictures, Corbin. I've been contacted to do work on a 338 Edge. It sure would be nice to have the 300 grain AB available now!

Jim, When I buy a big 338 it would be the Lapua like Corbin has or the same Savage with the HS Precision stock on it. It would really be more of a play rifle than a strict hunting rifle I think. I don't see myself humping it around the timber much. It would give me flashbacks of humping a LAW as a young lad- Light Antitank Weapon-
I just wanna fun rifle that could be used for target and double as a good rig to hunt with if such a scenario ever developed.

I have entered all the data into my exbal program and it says I am doing 2978 fps. its time to put her through the crony. The B.C. is .720

At 510 yards, I needed 9.0 MOA with 300 grain SMK at 2000 ASL. Velocity is around 2850 fps. I would like to try this new Hornady and push it around 3K and see what kind of performance I can get with my 9.3 twist barrel.
