Congratulations on the cow elk Jake!
The 338 265 gr ABLR is a winner and with the speeds the 338 RUM is generating, its impressive near and far for sure.
They seem to hold their accuracy down range pretty well. I put one on the 1,200 yard gong first shot and then put a 5" 3 shot group on the 10"Hx16"W 900 yard gong. I really think that I could have had a better groups at 900 but the first two shots were right at the bottom of the target (I was still playing with the ballistic program) so I gave it a 1/10th of a mill up and shot the last one.
So far I really like these. Hopefully I can get my hands on some tags again next year and get a few more of these into some critters.
