These powders will give you the velocity to assure proper expansion and energy at 400yards

I've been using the 225 gr. Partition in my .338 Savage for over 10 years with 71gr. of IMR 4350. Chronographed at 2858 fps avg. It has been my go to gun of the several I have. It hits hard at ranges beyond 350 yards and The expansion has been very reliable and controlled. The accuracy is in the 2.5 in. range at 200 yds with my gun but I've really never taken the time to fine tune seating depth etc. It's just worked so well on mule deer and elk size game that I havn't tried to (fix) it.

RL19, IMR 4831 & H4350 have performed well for me in the .338wm under 225gr bullets.

I have had great luck with IMR 7828 with this bullet loaded to the Nosler Manual Max load for this bullet.
