Well I got some RL19. I have some 200gr AB, 210gr Partition, and 215gr GameKings. What would you start at and what OAL should I aim for? Also, are the Partitions too much for whitetail, if so, I may sell them and buy more AB if they shoot well.

I would start with the 200gr AB, and the 210gr Partitions.

See which one your rifle likes best.

OAL, if this is a hunting rifle, you will typically start at magazine length, and work in if needed.

I'm with AS. Whichever shoots better would be my choice. Both of those are awesome bullets. I think your going to enjoy the power on tap with either bullet in your 338. Scotty

I would start around 73grs and work up to 76-77grs. Somewhere in there should get you mighty close to 3k with good accuracy. I'm sure you won't have to work too hard. Scotty

You will find that the 210 gr PT at close to 3000 fps is magic on game.

I think the next load for my 338 will be the 210 PT or the 200gr AB.. Not cause the 250's aren't awesome, but I wanna mess around a little and try the lighter end of the bullets and see how I like them. Scotty
