Just curious and was wondering if anyone loads the 338Win down to 338-06 velocities. Thinking of using it for white tail deer but don't think I need the full house load I carried for Elk.

Thanks Scotty, still looking to sell it so I can get something else that isn't a magnum.
I have used a 338 deeer with full house loads using Barnes TSX bullets. Works great and less meat damage than 30 cal. lead bullets. I have also loaded these loads.

Thanks everyone, dealing with a lot of things right now so it will be a while before I can test some loads.
Tell me about it! 
...in last 2.5 mos I had my left hand worked on again, then dealt with a "raging infection" UTI (what the doc said). I passed "razor blades" for 10days then a week later had the "roto rooter job" on the "ol plumbing", ha. I go back to Light duty on Tuesday on my Home Depot evening job. I'm going "stir crazy" here at home. My Mod 77 is still in the smith's, I told him I'm in no hurry...
