338WM ?

WT, a friend of mine had his Model 70 custom barreled/chamber reamed specifically for the 210 gr Nosler Partition.

He was never disappointed.

How did I know that would be the unanimous reply. :)

I have both and hope to get one of them rocking this summer out of the 338WM. I did shoot one deer with the 210 and it was a sight. My dad was able to watch the hit and could not believe a deer could drop that fast. There was no bullet recovery!!!!

The 338 is a great cartridge, it's up for about anything in North America, and in most other continents. Winchester got that one right!!!!!!

I don't believe you can ever go wrong with the Partition it has been the at top of the heap for many years.
If you watch any of the long range shooting shows it looks like the Nosler LRABs are starting to make inroads there as well . That high BC & Nosler quality is the ticket!!!

Blessings,
Dan

Of those two, the Partition, of course. Back when I played with 338 mags, ( late '90s) that Hornady 225 was known to be pretty temperamental, few rifles shot them well consistently. In all fairness, they may have changed now. The 210 weight range is about perfect in the 338WM for majority of lower 48 hunts. I admit that all my kills in this caliber came from the Barnes 185 XLC and the 210 XBT ( even in the 340W) I used the 180 AB in a 338 RUM, it is a great bullet also. As said, you can't go wrong with the 210 Nosler, far too many good results on record to doubt it in the field. Good luck to you Pard.
