So I got rid of my 300 RUM a few years ago and ended up with a 300 Win Mag because of cost of the brass cases for the RUM. Go looking for 300 Win Mag cases (Nosler) and they are $10 more than the 300 RUM. What the heck is that all about? Not complaining so to say, just don't get it. No winchester brass to be found. About the only thing I see is Hornady and I'm not to thrilled about their brass.

Corey -

The reason the .300 Win Mag brass appears to be more expensive is because it comes in a box of 50. The .300 RUM brass comes in a box of 25. So while you are parting with more cash for the Win Mag brass, you are getting twice as many per box.

Check out MidwayUSA and you'll see what I mean.

Oh. That makes sense. Thanks.
