That sucker looks good Fotis. Never shot the Hornady FTX from my 348 but their SP's are very accurate. I use RL17 in my 348. That is a beauty of a rifle.

I didn't realize Hornady made a flexy-tip bullet for the old .348 cartridge. Niche market. That's pretty cool - and at 2600 fps, it's certainly not confined to typical "brush buster" ranges!

Hornady has been crushing it lately with some of the cool stuff they are putting out for the old rifles. It'd be cool if they'd make some bullets for the old 22 Savage HP..

I also shot the 200 SP hornadies. They shot great also but way too high with the peep sight all the way down. I need a new higher front sight but not sure what size I have currently. Anyone know?

Not to sound smart Buddy but if you measure it with a caliper and check on Brownell's for new front blades you will be able to gauge if it is short, medium or high and then pick one higher to suit where you want to be.

I have to say: If given the chance, and I had the amount of money to buy the Browning version, I wouldn't hesitate one little bit to purchase it.
