Just wondering how many of you are reloading the 35Rem?

Other than the Lever-Evalution ammo and Buffalo Bore most of the factory ammo is now pretty anemic due in keeping with the spesications decresing pressures levels for older guns.

For newer guns like the 336, 760, 7600, and model #7's, what are you loading?

Which one? The 336 can handle way different pressures than the 7!

With the case being as strong as the 30-30win case and all the newer guns handle more pressure than the case can. The case is still the weak link in the system. So I only load up to but just lower than the 30-30's pressue level about 10% less. I have talked to ballistions and these pressures are safefor any newer gun not just what a model #7 bolt can handle.

For the 336 in mind, mine is a 336D I have loaded to 2220fps but its accuricy is found between 2140 and 2190fps. My velocity veried from 2170-2220fps do to different lots of powder and primers so I backed off 1/2 grain and target 2180 fps. and just except the what velocity my batch of fifty loads produce. This is my 20-100 yards gun so thats OK. It does 1.25 " groups not bad from a lever gun.

Its 40.0grs of H4895, rem brass and 200gr CLRN bullets, with fed210m primers.
