358 win and TSX bullets?

I especially like the 200 grain TSX. In both my Hawkeye and BLR, 47 grains of IMR3031 or 49 grains of H335 give good velocity and accuracy. For the 225 grain TSX, I found 43 grains of A2015 give me exceptional accuracy, but my all 'round hunting load was either 52 grains of W748 or 49 grains of IMR4895. There is still room for charging up with IMR4895, but accuracy began to degrade.

Never tried any of them in the 358 Fotis. I shot an elk, a few deer and a black bear from the 35 Whelen with the 225 TSX. Pretty good bullet in my opinion. I am not sure the 358 Win really gets the FPS though to really put me at ease they will open well out beyond a 100 yards.

Do not perform as good in the 358Win Terminally as the AccuBond or Sierra SBT, but are accurate, yet not as accurate as other loads I developed with other 225gr bullets. The 200TSX would work better at 358Win velocities. The velocities are not high enough to for the 255gr TSX to work well past 100yds, I know, 125yds in one side of the deer out the other and the deer ran a long ways. The exit was bore size. Up close it might work better.

Personally I wouldn't spend the time or money (unless I had to use lead free). Cup and core or Partitions for extra insurance expand well and hold together for adequate penetration at 358 velocities even on larger size game.

Lol, try this test then, set a 1 gallon jug at 100 yards in front of a target to record bullet expansion. Then shoot through and record. I have done and there is no lead big game hunting bullet besides a Berger that will open up like it, I've done with a 30-30 shooting 165 tsx at mz of 2200 fps bullet open up perfectly. Done same with the Hornaby mono flex at 2250, again awesome. I've had lots of lead bullets pass through game as needles pass through cloth, if you shoot enough you see just about every out come there is, 95 percent of the time it's hunter error in shoot placement mixed with bad judgment . All bullets can kill effectively , we just have understand the limitations or benefits of each to our own needs.

Changed my post, tired of talking about the TSX and TTSX because folks will use what they want and believe including me what they want and it shows our bias.
