I was hopeing that it would do a bit better than either of Nosler's 260 gr bullets and it certainly did that. Both of those will do 6 jugs which is very good but so does the 225 gr AccuBond in the 35 Whelen thats why I wanted to try the 300 gr bullet, to have a bit different peformance than the Whelen.

Hey gerry - if you coud you ever collect up enough milk jugs we could check the penetration of the 525 gr Beartooth Piledriver from my 45-70 - Going to need a lot more jugs then you have being using up ! :shock: LOL

I got some loaded to test now with RL17 powder and H414 powder ! I am thinkin they will be around 2600 fps ! 8)

Wow, that is some very serious work done by that bullet! I don't think a guy could want much more than that Gerry!

Man, Nosler needs to get on a 416 AB of some sort. That might push me over the edge to get a 416.. If not, I'll just have to get another M70 in a 375 H&H!
