Where did you find this data? Looks like H4350 is very popular?

I have a Ruger African Hawkeye .375 Ruger, so far I have only shot the factory loads. I did take it on an elk hunt in Montana earlier this month (Nov '07).

My first reloading goal is to get a 270 gr Nosler Partition load developed. Second will be a Barnes TSX, those should get me through a California pig and an '08 elk hunt.

Good .375 H&H loads should be guides for the .375 Ruger.

The Dec.`07 issue of "Guns Magazine" features the Alaskan 375 as their featured article. According to that article, Win760 and RL15 give the best performance.............Also go to www.gunsandammo.com and the click onto G&A reloads. Scroll down until you find "The 375 Ruger." Click on that and read the 2 page article by Terry Wieland. The 2nd page contains good reload info for this cartridge..................The Ruger Alaskan 375 isn`t a pretty rifle, but then again, it`s not suppose to be. Excellent choice for any weather, for any game and on any continent! IMO, it is the perfect compact DGR.

Thanks for the info I beleve Rl 15 is going to be my pick with 260 AB and WLRM primers..... Thanks for info!

I bought a .375 Ruger African last summer, currently I am shooting 260 gr accubonds @ 2950 with 74 grains of IMR4895, and get five shot groups around an inch. I tried Rl 15 and the best group I got was aroung two inches with a muzzle velocity around 2850. Think i'm going to try some Partitions or TXS next if they don't come out with an E Tipn in the next year or so.

+1 on 4350, on the other hand another powder to seriously consider is AA2700. Especially the 300gr loads the AA2700 shows very nice consistency and velocity. Of the mentioned primary powders 4350 is probably the least temp sensitive and therefor the most forgiving of harsh field conditions.

Good shooting,
Gary

The loads I have had best results with is with Reloader 15

RL 15 @ 75.0
and
RL 15 @ 72.0

Both of these loads produced 1/2" groups in my Alaskan. I settled on the 72.0 grain load which is still at 375 HH vel.....enough for me!
