Those look great Jim. Might as well add mine in there as well. This was found after shooting THREW a 12-14" pine tree. Got lucky and found it on the deck. Scotty

Out of curiosity, Jim, what was the retained weight of the PT at 50 yards?

Mike, I know you asked Jim, but the one I shot weighs 250 right on the nose with 1 petal left. Scotty

That is excellent weight retention.

Mike, after I saw that, I didn't see any reason to look for a better 45-70 bullet. They cannot lose anymore weight and they are very accurate bullets. I really hope Nosler makes more. Scotty

Joel,

Shot into water filled milk jugs at 100 yds, found in jug #8. Retained weight is 285.4 grs and expanded to .776" with one petal broken off.

Those bullets look awesome! Outstanding performance.

They are an awesome bullet. We need to keep reminding Nosler to make a run of this bullet. They will sell every one of them!

Man, Jim you are speaking the gospel. Especially with the up beat nature of the 45-70 really hitting home the last few years, I would think there are alot of folks that would really like to have this bullet. I know Brian and I are kicking around using a couple for deer this year. Just for kicks. They really shine in the "needs to be put down now" category!

Come on Nosler, give us some more 458 300gr PP's! Scotty
