Scotty, you won't have any trouble at all!..Man that buck i shot with the 300gr tsx was like he was hit by a mac truck  ...for moose, if my shots are 200 yds and under, i would just love to use the 45-70 to terminate him!...all know better when i go this fall pal..Lou

Scotty, here's my 45-70, i have since changed to a burris scope pal...Lou

Yeah Lou, you would be nutty to get rid of that rifle considering how it shoots for ya. That is a great looking rig with plenty of reach.. It'll be cool to see a recovered TSX or TBBC from a moose this Fall...

Those look like bullets from ranchdog molds- http://www.ranchdogoutdoors.com/index.p ... ath=1_5_14

the 350 mold cast bullets in the 360ish grn range and the 425 drops bullets in the 435ish range.

I took a nice blacktail buck year before last with the 365grn bullet- pretty much alost went thru the deer length wise. Very accurate bullets and I like the tumble lube design. I just got the 425 mold and loaded some rounds up but havent made it to the range.

Casting is my next endeavor RR. Haven't jumped in yet, but Daves bullets are very nice. Consistent in weight and hope they are accurate. I think he has had some excellent result with them. Looking forward to giving them a whirl..
