every time i try h380 powder in my .243 the nosler reloading maual i have calls for 53 grains of powder and it over flows the case. does anybody have a load correction for this powder and bullet combo?

Is that starting or max load? Either way invest in a looooong drop tube and funnel combo and pour slooooooooooooowly.

Hey, this is the load I shoot in my moms ruger .243 w/22" tube. Ha ha, sounds funny but I ran into the same problem, I was like "what the heck". Your not able to put in the amount of powder that they call for. Well I found that it makes loading real fast when you just pour the case full of powder and wipe the excess that flows over and seat a bullet. Works for me and I get .5-.75" groups at 100 yards and 4100fps out of a 22" barrel. Good luck.

I have been trying this combination as well. I loaded up to 54 grains of H380 in my virgin Winchester cases. Yes it was to the top, but not overflowing. I found the secret is to charge every case very slowly through my funnel, allowing it to compact as much as possible. I found when I just dump the powder in the funnel all at once that 52 grains fills it to the top.
