I'm Looking for a winning deer load with the 6.5-284.

I would like to shoot my 120 BT's or 125 Part. Any loads would be appreciated. (custom Encore w/ 26" MGM bbl)

I used 52.0 gr of IMR4350, norma brass, CCI200 primer and a 120BT...very accurate. with that being said though, i had terrible bullet failure on a mule deer...high shoulder shot at 225 yards...bullet blew up on the surface but broke the shoulder...the next shot in the lungs and he fell. i would lean towards the Partition if you are shooting bigger deer or make sure you shoot them in the lungs.
