I have a Mauser 98 in cal. 6,5x55 and I would like to have a little more power that the standard 6,5x55 can give me. My idea is to recamber it to 6,5x55 AI.
Anyone who has tried this caliber and what are your experiences?
From a Win model 70 Featherweight and modern brass I got 2740 FPS with IMR 4831 and 140 Hornady. This is from a standard 6.5x55. I would say add 100-130 fps to that and you're there.
