62gn Varmageddon 223 Rem

Hi all,

I noticed the other night when I was showing my daughters boyfriends some shooting stuff and came across some targets where I had been doing load development with 62gn Varmageddon's in my 223. I completely forgot about them and noticed that with 2208 (Varget) they were grouping really nicely. I've never used them on a hunt (or outside of that load development day either for that matter), so I am interested in knowing what experience people have had and what are some of the larger game they have used them on. I’ve used them on prairie dogs and the like, nothing bigger Except for one porcupine. Pretty explosive bullet.

I used a 55 gr tipped varageddon in my 22 Nosler on a coyote and it was instant lights out DRT.
I'm sure the 62 gr would be the same result.

were you getting pass through on coyote's or were they staying contained in the animal?
