6x47 Lapua 90 NBT Data?

Hello All,

Looking for some load data for the 6x47 L with a 90 grain Ballistic Tip. Thinking it’ll go well with N140 or IMR 4350. I’ve been having some ignition problems with the Peterson Brass and that tiny flash hole using W760, but will try other powders to see what it does.

ignition problems with the W760 powder could be from using a standard primer . ball powders should use a mag primer . I'd guess that needing to use the small rifle primer would only make this more of a problem . I'm thinking W760 might be slow for these lighter bullets too .

sorry , they are using varget with the 6.5x47 . this is what I was looking for when I found the article . there is 6x47 info there too . I'll let you read it .

Not sure what your Barrel Length or your application is but I have a 6x47L set up for hunting. 90gr Swift Scirocco and Varget with CCI BR4 is doing well for me. I went with Varget rather than 4350 or one of the other slower choices to reduce muzzle blast with the SHORT barrel length on this rifle.
