Predicted Data for Indicated Charges of the Following Powders.
Matching Maximum Pressure: 49100 psi, or 338 MPa
or a maximum loading ratio or filling of 110 %
These calculations refer to your specified settings in QuickLOAD 'Cartridge Dimensions' window.
C A U T I O N : any load listed can result in a powder charge that falls below minimum suggested
loads or exceeds maximum suggested loads as presented in current handloading manuals. Understand
that all of the listed powders can be unsuitable for the given combination of cartridge, bullet
and gun. Actual load order can vary, depending upon lot-to-lot powder and component variations.

Here are a few ideas generated from QL.

I've gotten exceptional accuracy with Varget although the muzzle flash was excessive. I'm now using RL15.

I have hunted WT deer with the 7-30 Waters and the 120 gr BT but have not fired a shot.......yet.

while not a 7x30 waters, I have hunted with the 7x30 imp in a t/c contender carbine. took deer with both the older 120 gr nosler bt (red & green box) and the newer 120 gr. noslers. Out of my 24" barrel using 36.5 grs of 4064, the 120's are doing 2800 fps.

shot was at 75yds full frontal chest shot with the older (red & green box) 120gr bt. bullet traveled into chest cavity and found only the jacket material. bullet did do its part and deer dropped on the spot.

another was shot at 150 yds using the newer 120 gr bt. shot was a broadside shot that broke the shoulder and bottom of the spine. also dropped on the spot.

Good to hear roadtoad was wondering how this bullet would perform @ lower velocity hope I can get good performance out of my shorter pistol barrel .
