7 Mag pressure issues

No I'm done trying the Rl22. I've tried the very minimum in the nosler book and still get pressure signs. I have 3.5 pounds of the stuff and I'm disappointed in it. I plan on calling to see if I have a bad lot or something. I can't see the swing being that big. That is why I want to try H1000 and see what I can do with it. I also have some RL26 but I'm reluctant to try it at the moment.

Me too, just wanting to know what others have done with it.

Sorry I can't help with H1000 as the guys I know with 7 rem mags run RL-22.

All the work I have conducted with the 7RM and H1000 was launching 168 grain bullets. It worked admirably in those multiple instances.

I was really impressed with R26 in my 7mm Rem Mag and the 160 Sierra. It does well in full and even compressed loads. R33 was the berried for the 175. I like R22 also, but my original 8# jug is an older Lot form years ago. Good luck to you Pard.

Thanks for the help and replies. I guess I should try both powders I have and see which one does the best.

When I had a Rem 7 mag my load was with Hornady 154 bullets, IMR-4350, Win cases and Fed 215 primers. Had excellent results back then with that powder.

Work up to 70 grs with 160 Ab's and the fed primers.
I started at 63 and went up to 70 , this is a Lane Pearce load out of reloader mag.
I didn't achieve the accuracy in my rifle , but have enough H1000 to keep my 300 bee happy for awhile.
I wound up using ramshot magnum as my go to 7mm powder.

I get 3k fps MV and great accuracy with a Nosler #7 book max charge of MagPro, 72.0 grains, start low and work up.

WLRM, Remington brass, 3.290" COAL.
