Just like the title says anyone used 7828 in a 7mm Rem Mag with 160 accubonds? Kind of curious what kind of velocities and accuracy one would get? I'm thinking of going to one powder for my two big rifles, 7mag and 300RUM.

Corey, this is just what I heard from internet folks, but, Remington actually used 7828 before it was commercially available to handloaders for the original 7RM loads? I have found IMR7828 and RL22 to be pretty close to the same powder in my 243 and 270WSM. I haven't tried it much with anything else, but I think it is a good alternative. 7828 is a pretty danged versatile powder as well for the heavier bullets in most cartridges... Heck, I might have to experiment a little as well.

Corey,

I haven't used IMR 7828 with that particular bullet. I've used it on other occasions. However, I've never loaded for my own rifle with that particular powder as others gave me better performance. I have worked up loads for others, primarily working with Berger VLDs, that were wonderfully accurate.
