7mm 150 Ballistic Silvertip vs. BT

Compared to the regular BT what difference, if any, can one expect from the Silvertip?
Can one expect the same accuracy with the Silvertip as a proven load with the BT.
Or will you be starting from scratch?
What benefits, if any, will one gain from loading the Silvertip?

They shoot the same POI in my rifle. That said, you should expect to work up and see. I have noticed that the BST shoot a little faster(10-15 fps). That is negligible in my opinion.

Layolandad nailed it. You won't discover much difference in performance between the two bullets.

The Lubalox (nickel based) coating is the only difference between BST and BT Nosler bullets, weight for weight.

Never noticed a difference in any of my rifles either.

Other than the Lubalox coating, they are the same bullet.
