Where might one find starting load data for the 150 gr. E -Tip and the 7mm WSM with Magpro powder ?

The only advise I can offer is................
StarT at minimum....work up slow .............
this is only a simulation!!!!!!!

YMMV

Cartridge : 7 mm WSM
Bullet : .284, 150, Nosler E-Tip
Cartridge O.A.L. L6: 2.860 inch or 72.64 mm
Barrel Length : 24.0 inch or 609.6 mm
Powder : Accurate MAGPRO

Predicted data by increasing and decreasing the given charge,
incremented in steps of 2.0% of nominal charge.
CAUTION: Figures exceed maximum and minimum recommended loads !

...........................In the V Edition of my Sierra manual, it shows the following;

7 WSM
Winchester M/70
24" bbl
1 in 9 1/4" twist
Trim to length- 2.090"
Primer- WLRM
150 gr. Sierra SBT
MagPro powder

64.8 gr @ 2800 fps.
67.0 gr @ 2900 fps.
69.2 gr @ 3000 fps.
71.4 gr @ 3100 fps.
72.5 gr @ 3150 fps. (max)

Having loaded some E-Tips in .27 and .308, I'll caution you not to use existing data with regard to max charges. I reached max pressure well before max published charges in two different rifles. My results were very consistent as to what percentage below max, as well. I'd start with the simulation POP provided, go up in very small increments (like .5gr or less) and be aware of every possible sign of pressure. If you don't have a chronograph, get one for working up these bullets, as they behave markedly different than normal lead-core bullets of the same weight. I was able to achieve excellent velocity and accuracy by seating these with significant jump into the lands (rather than close seating them like many do with lead core bullets), but my velocities came at much lower charges (2-4gr in some instances) than with lead core bullets or TSX's of the same weight. I had the best results using a slow powder for the application, so you are probably looking at the right powder - MagPro is pretty slow stuff - just work up carefully.

+1 to what dubyam said.
I have shot the 7mm 150 gr E-Tip in my 280 AI with RL 22. I started at min load and worked up to the mid level which is considered MAX by Nosler. I also achieved my best accuracy at .100" off the lands.
The 7mm 150 gr E-Tip shoots, yoou just have to find the sweet spot off the lands.

I just started loading these in a 7mm SAUM, initial accuracy has been excellent. I'm using H4831sc, I started at min, 58grs and worked uo to 60.8, the groups have all been sub MOA, several half that size.

Any idea what sort of velocities I should be getting here? I am shooting for 3000 fps.

What's the BC on this bullet?
