I load 66.0grs of Reloader-22 with the 160 AB,OAL 3.300.I'm shooting this load in four 7mags.I could go up on two of the slower rifles,but I'm close to or max on my faster ones.Velocity ranges from 2900-3100fps depending on the rifle.They all shoot this load good,so I left it at that.

It happens. Chambers differ in size. Barrels differ. Hard to say why one barrel develops 3,000 fps and the next one "only" 2900 fps.

So... See where you and your rifle are comfortable. When it's grouping well, at reasonable velocity, I'd be comfortable. And happy.

Dad used a 7Mag and 130 grain speers all my life. It was his only rifle and only load. Nothing on four legs was safe if he pointed it in their direction. Cant see how a 160 AB at 2800 FPS could be bad. If it goes where you point it, hunting wise, you are done. My .02. CL
