Well, last week I sold the Browning 7mmRM that have me fit and today I ordered a Tikka T3 in 7mmRM to replace it.

I need to have a 7mmRM in the lineup for sentimental reasons and I already have the supplies to reload for it so I figured this would make a great addition to the collection. I hope to break the barrel in soon.

My goal is to reload 150 Partitions and btips in this rifle.

Good deal. I wish you the best of luck. Hope you forget all of the previous frustrations with the new stick. My best loads with the 150s is 62.5 to 63.0 grains IMR 4350.

Tikka has a fine reputation for accuracy, and the 7mm Rem mag can deliver that accuracy too.

Hope this one works out for you! Healthy doses of slower burning powders...

There is nothing wrong with a T3 they are have a great name in the industry (y). I am looking forward to range reports with photos .

You should be pleased with the performance of your Tikka. All that I have shot have delivered some fine accuracy. When buying rifles for my grandson and son-in-law, Tikka was the rifle I recommended and which they seized upon. Truthfully, there was no LH Winchester, or my grandson would have been continuing in the tradition of his Pa. My SIL picked Tikka because of the laminate stock. You'll do well with the Tikka; and 7RM is an excellent cartridge.

Glad to hear you got the old one sold and got a new one. You'll like the Tikka. The only upgrades you may want to add are a Limbsaver recoil pad and a stainless steel recoil lug. Shoot it and see how you like it. Both the walnut and synthetic stocks are fully free floated and plenty stiff. I love both of mine. Enjoy it.
