8mm Rem Mag

It started low enough. That would be a great rifle to add to one's collection.

Man, I understand the weak thing, that is a beautiful classic rifle. Man, the lust thing runs strong on this forum, but at least we all have a great support group on this forum .

Don't support groups stop addictions not entice us to continue them?

That's a nice rifle though.

Scotty,

That has you written all over it buddy. Loaded up with 200 gr PT's, you have an elk smasher for sure.

Support, noun - A thing that bears the weight of something or keeps it upright: example "the best support for a gun lusting dude is another gun lusting dude". (Mike Price)

SUPORT:
1. To bear the weight of, especially from below.
2. To hold in position so as to keep from falling, sinking, or slipping.
3. To be capable of bearing; withstand.
4. To keep from weakening or failing; strengthen: His friends supported him in his effort to obtain the gun and enable his desires. (Mike Price)
5. To provide for or maintain, by supplying with money or necessities.
6. To furnish corroborating evidence for: New facts supported his story.
a. To aid the cause, policy, or interests of: supported him in his desire to purchase the rifle.
b. To argue in favor of; advocate: supported his feelings.
8. To endure; tolerate: "On the forum there was such a stir of emotions that I decided to support his want of an 8mm Rem Mag" (Mike Price).
9. To act in a secondary or subordinate role to the one desiring the rifle.

GROUP- A number of individuals or things considered together because of similarities:

HENCE NOSLER SUPPORT GROUP - A NUMBER OF GUN LOVING GUYS WHO ARE TOGETHER BECAUSE OF SIMILARITIES IN THE LOVE OF HAVING MANY GUNS, RELOADING EQUIPMENT AND SHOOTING HABITS, WHILE ACTING AS A UNIT IN SECONDARY OR SUBORDINATE ROLES TO EACH OTHERS DESIRES, ENABLING ONE ANOTHER SO AS TO KEEP EACH OTHER FROM WEAKENING OR FAILING TO PURSUE THE NEXT GUN, BULLET, POUND OF POWDER, BOX OF PRIMERS, BAG OF BRASS, SCOPE AND PERCEIVED EXTRAS AND ACCESSARIES.
EXAMPLES - MIKE & FOTIS

Yes!!!! you are curered of the need to resist, now that was easy, wasn't it. See, there is healing in our group sessions.

That is a nice rifle for sure Scotty. I have always had a little spot in my thoughts, nagging at me to get an 8mm RM.. While it is one of those caliber's that have not been taken to by the American market, and not a lot of bullets available is part of that I suppose. But with the 200 gr PT like Jim had noted,,,,,, my thoughts are, one really don't need any other imo. No matter what I'm poking fun at.

And we are a lot cheaper than a tharapist! Here you can buy a new rifle, dies and components and still be ahead instead if paying a shrink.

I can say it's difficult but I think there might still be one of us here that might need a shrink. I won't mention a name but we might need a poll for it!

Shrinks? Never use 'em. Just buy another rifle, go to bed, and you'll feel better in the morning. Oh, and don't call me.

Maybe we're going about this all wrong and that's were the guilt starts to creep in. Instead of wondering and thinking about whether we should buy the gun, we should just buy it and then wonder and think about whether we should sell it.
Works for me

Excellent suggestion, Greg. I'm with you.

Greg, I really like the way you think.
I think you could be the chief Councillor for this group we belong too.
Well guys TTYL I am hitting the hay as I am going into work tomorrow for 4 hours :)

Blessings,
Dan

Scotty if you ever needed a caliber the .323 8mm mag is it. You'd be soooooooooooo cool with that caliber you could pizz ice cubes in the summer months. I don't however recommend you use them to cool your most refreshing beverage though, I'm just saying.

Besides if moron boy (me) can buy a 300 rum that I don't want you can certainly buy an 8mm mag that you do want.

Bill, just pass your 8RM along and you'll be set!

I can't see myself doing that Scotty, but on the other hand, it did kill a 6x6 bull on it's first trip out so maybe I used all it's luck up in one fell swoop? Na.
