9.3x57 load data

Bill I feel your pain...

I just picked up my 9.3x57 a couple of weeks ago, believe me theres not much to go on. I'm playing with a load that consists of reformed Rem. 8x57 brass, 44.5 grs of H322 and the Nos. 250 gr. Ballistic Tip...accuracy @ 30 yds seem to be sub-minute of pie plate. (Velocity should be around 2000-2100 fps.) Actually all 3 rounds went through the same hole, it just got a little bigger. I have'nt sighted to 100 yds. yet...thats coming soon.

Recoil is mild, a very pleasant gun to shoot.

Keep in mind a little less than full length re-sizing may help prevent headspace problems.

Be safe...hope this helps.

To my fellow 9.3 x 57 shooters, I shot the above load (a couple of weeks ago) @ 100 yds my groups ran around 1-1.5 inches, of course the 2-stage trigger did'nt help at all, and the actual load was 45 gr of H322 and 250 Nosler Ballistic Tip.

By the way the Ballistic Tip may be getting a lil' scarce. I asked Nosler about this and the answer was less than precise. "We may be working on an AccuBond 250, but were unsure". Well we can only hope so. But the reply assured me that 250 9.3 would continue to be available.
