A day at the range

Went out today and tried my new toys: These and my 416 Bee are my only big game guns now.


30-378 MKV Accumark
Savage 7mm-08

This is what they did.

30-378
106gr Retumbo an 200 gr Accubonds at 3300 fps .8" at 200 yards

7mm-08 Savage

46 gr Rl15 120 ballistic tip at 3030 fps 1.1" at 200 yards!

NOT BAD HUH?

It just came in today! I will try to load up some Partitions and shoot some 325 Hornady leverevolution ammo I have, Next week maybe.

Also I will try to cut that 270 group by 3/4" or so. Maybe seating depth or swap caps?

7mm-08 is right in there as well. Those 2 shots are really good, woulda been nice to get the 3rd in there to huh?

You should be able to get the 270 WBY down to 1" without to much trouble I would think. I'm sure you'll get it. Why not the 140g AB???
