A dream AR platform?

Hi all;
Have a friend that wants to pick up an AR style rifle.
I have virtually zero experience with them.
He's a lucky guy in that money really isn't an object.
Any chance I could get a few suggestions if those of you knowledgable on this would chime in?

Probably a fancy toy around his small country property and conversation piece.
Groundhogs, maybe a coyote if one happens to show, etc.

So we're talking 223? or a more "glamorous" round?

The choices are endless so I would start from caliber.

For that I would look maybe at Dtech or Specialized Dynamics. White Oak Armament makes a kick butt upper as well.

If I were going to do it again, I would buy a White Oak Upper. As it stands, I have a DPMS 20" bull barrel upper that shoots really well.

Why not get one of the new Nosler AR's made by Noveske. Pretty high quality rig and would make one awesome rifle for punching targets!
