I am getting one of the special run remington 700 cdl in 264, w/ 26" fluted barrels. Paid for it on the 15th and it should be in my hands next week.

So what is a good powder for this round. I saw the 264 article in handloader, and was thinking Magpro, but am not sure please tell me what will get good velocity and be accurate. So far I have 140 grn part. and 129 hornady interlocks to start out with. I going to start out with a leupold 4-12 scope since I have one not currently on a rifle.

send me load data.

Congratulations on the new rifle.
Do a search for past post from reflex264 and Pop. They have some very good load data.

Its funny I went to Goodguys, sportsman warehouse and one other gun store they all said it didn't exist. I looked up the Bigrock distrubiting and saw that All sports was a sub company of them here in Or. I knew that was where Bimart gets their stuff from so I talked to the guy who manages the sporting good section in the ashland Bimart he said he would make a call. the next day he said he could only get me a blued one and that , all sports said not to wait. I was at bimart within half an hour and had them order it.
