Thinking about Africa for 2026 if things work out.
Anybody ever hunted with Umlilo Safaris?

Got half my hunt paid for with Francois of Umlilo Safari and thinking of going during our winter, their summer. I was originally going in May/June

Don’t want to wait. I’ve decided to invest in a good camera and just bring back pictures. Got some news today, unconfirmed but likely, that makes me want to get my bucket list done forthwith.

Vince, Catherine and I have recently adopted the philosophy we were only given 80 summers. I’ll be 70 come elk camp. She’ll turn 67 at deer camp this year. We are done saying “maybe next year or the year after”. Regardless any dire prognosis, we hope you don’t have one, we applaud you getting it done. We should be done to Tucson around Thanksgiving, certainly before Christmas. Let me know if you need anything before that and I’ll be in touch when we are in town.

Your phone will be great for most of your pictures. Talk to your ph and see if you can spend a day at a photography park-elephants and giraffes and all the rest stand and stare while you take thousands of pictures. It’s a great add on to a hunting safari and your new camera will get to stretch its legs
