Another "B" is in the house (Range Report)

Great looking rifles, both of them. Am particularly impressed with the wood in the buttstock of the .375 rifle. Those two cartridges are favorites of mine!

Man I am having a hard time not looking at this thread 10 times a day  really impressed with the finish on those rifles for sure! Very beautiful wood !!

 ..I well give a detailed range report on Sunday, I'm in the mood :)

Well it was kinda cold today, but I just had to make the trip to the range

All in all, right out of the box, the .375 H&H performed just as I expected it would, super smooth trigger and very comfortable to shoot, and very accurate with the Zeiss Conquest set on 10x, super clear image right on target, I'm really impressed with this scope.
Here's 2-3 shot groups (6 shots) @100yds shooting 300gr swift-aframes @2560fps

Well, that would certainly ensure tenderloin for the household. Fine shooting, Lou.

Wow! Now that is just flat out awesome Lou. That's the load to handle everything! Man, what a combo!

That looks really great Lou, it shoots just as well as your Kodiak did. Nice shooting :)

Nice shooting Lou  I think you got a keeper and we would be eating back strap with that grouping and nice looking rig with that Ziess up top  sweet report and Congrat's as you did your part for sure

Lou,

That is some fine shooting buddy, way to go!

Lou, thank you for the range report. Man you shoot that big Hurt & Hurt like you mean it .
I hope that you have nothing but success using those 2 beautiful rifles.

Thanks guys  ..The rifle and glass play a big role in accuracy, the use of a good rifle rest, and good targets really help me alot, as well as good trigger control etc. when I'm behind the trigger, I just simply stay focused on what I'm shooting at, and nothing else but :)

Looking forward to some wildboar hunting in less than 4 weeks, should be a blast

Lou, I could not get this picture to come up in the PM section, so I will post it here. This is a rather poor picture of my custom Model 70 in .270 and custom Mauser in 7mm Rem Mag with the two HD5 Zeiss scopes. That is except you can not see the scopes very well in the picture.

My photo skills are low today but you get the idea. These two rifles are set up pretty much the same to assure that I can handle either rifle without much thought.
