rebarrel a Savage? I got my model 11 today but have a few snags already. I ordered the rifle 9 months ago and the order went from a 200 Stevens to a 11 Savage. While I waited, I orders a Boyds stock for the 200. The issue I see is that the Savage has a detachable mag while the Stevens had a blind mag. Is there a way to turn a Savage 11 into a blind mag so I can use the stock? I guess it is better than having a hole in the stock and the action has a blind mag. I think I could also figure out a way to make it a single shot because it is going to be a 6mmBR.

Any ideas???

I believe it's relatively easy. If you call Savage in the morning they will sell you the parts, and it's cheaper to buy direct from them than to order from anyone else.
