Im looking for a starting point for a 300 win mag using 165 partitions. anyone got a good load. This is for a Mod70 (older) winchester. Id like to keep this below 3100 fps. Its for my buddy and he doesnt handle recoil to well.

Thanks, Paul

I have had excellent accuracy and velocity with RL 22 and the 180 gr in the 300 Win Mag. I would look at RL 22.
