I use Limbsaver on my bow, works great. I have never used this one for a rifle.

Where do you position it?

....................It depends on how your barrel is bedded.

If your barrel is free-floating, position the resonator starting at about 1" from the muzzle. If your barrel is not free floating, position the resonator starting 3/4" from the stock fore-end.

Go to "wwwlimbsaver.com" click on the "products" section then find "barrel de-resonators." They also have a short audio/video you can watch shooting with a de-resonator. You will also see instructions where to start its positioning depending on how your barrel is bedded; free-floating or otherwise.

....................If you get one, good luck with it. They really do work.

My original thinking was; if it can reduce the group sizes using factory ammo, then it should also work to reduce the group sizes using reloads, as opposed to not using one.
