Audio to Text Software

Does anyone have any experience with audio to text transcription technology? I would like to buy or download software that enables me to take voice notes and transcribe them verbatim to a word document. I would also like to be able to write via speaking into a microphone on my computer.

I don’t know the programs they use now but there has to be a good one out there. We were using a system back in the early 90s that did that but you really had to proof read your reports as every little um, back ground noise or W.T.F. Is that guy doing comment while you were dictating would be in the report. I had officers who worked for me that were so bad at proof reading their dictated reports i would make them come into my office and read it out loud. Even then they wouldn’t catch the errors sometimes.

I don't think they would be difficult to find.
We use Dragon Speak on a couple of computers at work, and recently had a medical records AI demonstration that transcribed as a visit went along.
My iPhone does it too if I want it to do so.
