Regs are out for deer, sheep, buffalo, fall turkey, fall bear, youth javalina, and mountain lion.
I think the application deadline is June 09 this year. Antelope and elk are already closed. Good luck!

I noticed no one has responded to this thread. Dont overlook Arizona and New Mexico as hunting destinations. Absolutely nothing against Wash, Or, Id, Wy, Montana or Co, but there is a good variety of big game that can be hunted in Ar and NM. I also noticed many of you like to Elk hunt and again dont overlook Elk hunting NM and AZ. Some of the largest bull's I have hunted were on the Apache reservation in Az.

There's no elk in Arizona. They have been relocated to Montana due to the drought.

reading through it now, AZ coues is on my list of things to do, hunt them here in NM but tag situation is erratic at best, I can see arizona from where I hunt , might as well throw my hat in and chase them on the other side of the fence too

The units you can see from New Mexico are pretty much locked off by private land unless you know some ranchers.

I've lived in AZ for many years. I'm finally going to put in for deer and sheep.

Unfortunately, draw odds are pretty low north of the canyon where I live.

You can get drawn every year for deer, depending on where you put in, and start racking up the sheep points.
I'll put in for sheep until I die or get drawn. Good luck!

I have no idea where to put in, so I put in for 13A & 12A. Two highly unlikely units.

If you put in for the units along the border you should get drawn with no issue.
