The B&C Medalist stock I had put on my Mark V 30-06 and bedded and free-floated paid off. Also had Cera-Kote finish. First here is the rifle:

I stocked 3 of my custom rifles with the BC Medalist stock. Its a great stock for the money.

Yes, this turned out much better than I thought it would. Now I wish Deer season would get here but ours starts in November.

That there is a dandy load. Congrats on the group and glad it made a good difference.

Thank you remingtonman 25-06, it shot real good as a Mark V Synthetic but about every third round or so would throw a slight flier but still could keep a five shot group under and inch. I figured it was two things first me and second the Synthetic stock which was not free-floated. Well, it seems I have corrected my shooting mechanics and the B&C Medalist is doing it's job. I am glad I switched stocks and had it bedded and freefloated.

I lost all my pictures on Photo Bucket and it removed every picture I ever posted and therefore removed every picture I ever posted on a forum in my load development for the last three years and also post on rifle builds. I surely am not going back to repair all I have ever posted on forums but I will repair this latest post on this forum.

Great shooting bullet, and nice rifle. Don't drop it in green grass, it might get lost. hummm the finder will be very happy.

bullet,

Nice looking rifle, looks like load development is complete. Time to go hunting!

russ808 I won't leave it lying around for both reasons :) JD I believe you are right and it is time to go hunting. Antelope Sniper, The B&C Medalist has preformed very well on every rifle I have had it installed. I am really happy with this rifle.

bullet,

You could call your rifle the "sewing machine" because you can thread the needle.
You have a fine looking shooter!

Gotta like a group like that!! Nice rifle! CL

cloverleaf, you are so right about the group being a nice one. I will post the largest group I have fired with this load as soon as I take the time to post the picture from my camera to the computer. I can get faster velocities with IMR4350 but not as consistently as accurate as with H4350. Also, I really do like how my rifle has turned out and consider myself very lucky to have a smith that knows how to set up a Mark V and B&C Medalist stock so it will shoot real good.

Here is the largest three shot group I have fired so far from my Mark V Custom 30-06. This is 165gr GK HPBT in front of 59grs H4350 moving 2953fps on average. The squares on the target are one inch squares to give you a reference point. Once again, this is my largest group with this load. There are some folks who say a 30-06 cannot shoot with the 308 in accuracy. I would beg to differer but of course I am biased toward the 06. I wonder why???????

I sure hope Nosler produces a Custom rifle in 30-06, I could see myself buying another 06.  8)

Yes, I think it would be a fine move by Nosler and it surely is a great rifle they build and it would be in the all time classic cartridge.
