Nice shooting!

Really glad that .25-06 Number One is working out so well. Great combination rifle for coyotes, deer & pronghorn! I wouldn't mess with that load.

Then there's the .416... There's just something a little crazy about using 115+ grains of H4350.... A little crazy I tell you! Great shooting with that big beast.

Regards, Guy

Thanks.

Only one huge fly in the ointment!!!!!!

The 416 Bee is wearing a 20 MOA Picatinny. Unfortunately the Zeiss conquest 4.5x14x44 bottomed all the way down shooting those groups at exactly 1 mil dot high or 3.6" high at 100 yards.

I can use the first mil dot over the crosshair as an aiming point but I do not know. A 10 or even a 15 MOA rail would be great.

Found the perfect answer. Left the 20 MOA base on it and bought a scope with more adjustments!

I went througn my spares drawer Fotis, and all I have is a Model 70 LA Picatinny base. Thought that I had a Weatherby Mark V but don't, sorry!

No problem Charlie and I thank you. Like I said got the 6500 elite enroute....

That 25-06 load is a good one, glad it worked out for you! See its shooting well at a couple grains less powder and few FPS slower then my rifle, but still 3300fps and under 1/2 MOA is pretty awesome and will flatten those speed goats...

That 416 is a shooter too!! Would love to squeeze off a round or two with something of that power...

Thanks Jorey!

Scott if RL 15 does not pan out then TAC is next in the 35W

I'll be interested in seeing how TAC performs in your Whelen Fotis, if you have Varget give it a go too, it just might be the load you are looking for :) You have some really good loads already, great shooting. The 6500 on your 30-378 must be working well for you to buy another one for the big 416 Wby, the DOA reticle looks good too.

Fotis, Great looking #1 and great groups! I was looking at your rifle rest, did you shoot those groups off of this?

Now, that is rich.

Great shoot´n Fotis!!. you have a great ol´ time up there. The .416cal WeeBee does put things in perspective. Lots of "killingpower" in that kaliber.
I shot a wild boar in Sweden some years ago with my .416Rigby. A 240grain impala bullet. Vo= 3260 Ft/sec.
Blew a fist size hole in the chest bone.

Fotis

I just did exactly the same thing with a zeiss conquest 4.5-14x50 with a rz-800 reticle. Not enough adjustment for a 20 moa rail. I had another conquest with mil-dot reticle and target knobs. It worked just fine.

I will as soon as I get a chance!

I do like that 6500 a lot! One of the best values out there and with 2.5-16 no need to switch scopes ever

What would you compare that 6500 to glass wise Fotis??

Not a big fan of bushnell at all, but it could be a scope I could see recomending to a couple guys if they are decent.

How many total MOA's does it have?

Any VX-3 out there Jorey...... easy.

I have 2 6500's 2 zeiess and enough leupolds to fill a baby's crib.

Google it and read the reviews.
