Shot this badger at about 25 yards on the run with my Rem 700 ADL in .222 Rem. I was using 55g NBT's at 3150fps..Dropped him DRT..He was a young male..You should have seen him when we first stopped the truck and I jumped out, he stopped out in the wheat field and stood up with his hair up on his back and acted like he was ready to kick some a$$..

We finally saw a coyote. I havent seen one in the last couple outings.. It was about 200 yards away sitting in a wheat field. By the time my dad stopped the truck, he was already running. I jumped out and rested over the hood, got really close my first shot (just behind him), ended up shooting a couple more at him but never got him...

Nice badger Remman. I wish I had a different gun for the last badger I shot. Out hunting for hogs w/the 300RUM, saw this badger at 26yrds. It didn't have a head after the 200AB made contact. Wish I'd brought my camera.

Nice Badger.
Not too many coyotes hu? You must have shot most of them.

Thanks guys.

Yah I think its just the time of year for not seeing coyotes. The pups are already starting to come out of the den, so they should be running around here in a few...

I haven't shot a coyote in forever, like 2 months...Definately a dry spell...

Nice badger, I missed one about three weeks ago and saw another one two days latter but he ran back to his hole before I could stop the pickup one was on yokum road and the other barnhart road. I saw a coyote pup last weekend put ran into the trees no shot.
