For the past few years I have been going to Big Game Info, for help in creating my range cards. Apparently they have moved or disappeared because I can no longer get their site to come up. I am not looking for software but data I can use to range check my rifles. Anybody else using a simple calculator not tied to a specific bullet where one can type in data and receive correction information in "clicks". ???

Use Vortex Optics ballistics calculator!!!!!!

It is very accurate. You take the initial drop chart to the range, test it, and plug in the results later. It will then spit out a very accurate drop chart. Dead accurate out to 600+ with my 22-250.

I ran my data on the 300 WM last night thru the Hornady Calculator last night, and it matched closely with the 3X5 card that I made up for this elevation and a warm day. I still haven't found the one for 6,000 feet and a cool day. That's why I was asking, I also want to sight the Tactical for about 250 and wanted info for that. I will look at the JBM, and see how it compares. Thanks again all !

If you open the basic/advanced tab you choose the advanced, this allows you to input temp and elevation ect.

Nikon has an app for heir BDC scopes. That is free online or it can also be purchased for smart phones. I use it all the time. And for a reference sheet You can go to the field chart and it will give you drop and energy at yardages. They have most if not all cartridges for factory loads. You can even input handload info with bullet of choice, mv, wind speeds and atmospheric conditions

Bill, ask Katie to download JBM for your IPad. That's a good one as well, Strelok is also a good one too.

My phone is pretty smart, it knows to make a ringing sound when someone is calling me. That is smart enough for me.
