I played with the xlc's in the old days. Yup you can burn more powder....NOPE the promise of the 200 fps is a bust...maybe....and this is a big maybe... you can get about 50 fps more out of them and that will put you even up with the normal cup and core bullets out there.
Try the nosler AB in 180....also the Partition. I'll bet the AB will shoot like a house of fire and be good for elk and deer. Partition probably a bit tougher but not quite the tack driver the AB is.
